The amficab FV20 is an innovative, compact and self-sufficient air purification system for effectively combating viruses, germs and bacteria in closed rooms. At the same time, the device noticeably reduces fine dust pollution and thus contributes to a significant improvement in breathing air quality.
Award-winning innovation
The product was honoured for its outstanding performance with the Reiner Lemoine Innovation Award from the district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld. FILTRONtec GmbH also received the special prize from Chemiepark Bitterfeld-Wolfen GmbH, worth 2,000 euros.
Indoor air hygiene - more than just clean breathing air
In heavily frequented indoor spaces, the risk of pathogens spreading via the indoor air increases. Viruses and germs in particular, which are transported in aerosols, can spread quickly and unnoticed throughout a room - a serious risk, as the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has clearly demonstrated.

The heart of the system is the integrated UV-C irradiation with a wavelength of 254 nm. This technology enables the reliable elimination of 99.9 % of viruses and bacteria in the air - without any chemicals, residues or odours.
