Operating costs

The fine dust and gas filter systems from FILTRONtec are characterised by particularly low energy and water consumption. Their efficient design ensures that both ongoing operation and maintenance remain extremely economical.

The most important reasons for the high efficiency:

Low power consumption

The fine dust particles are separated in an electrostatic field. Only a minimal current of a few milliamperes flows.

Short operating times of the auxiliary units

Components such as pumps, valves or the air compressor are only active for short periods each day.

Water treatment and reuse:

The water used to clean the electrostatic precipitator is treated after the washing process and reused to 90 %. Only minor losses due to evaporation or residual moisture in the filtrate need to be compensated for.

Low pressure loss

The pressure loss of the FILTRONtec fine dust filter is only around 50 pascals, with the activated carbon filter around 400 pascals - a decisive factor for energy-efficient operation. In contrast to fabric filters, the pressure losses do not change over the operating time.

Low exhaust air velocity

The purified air exits at a low speed of only approx. 5 m/s. In comparison, the air in systems without filtration must be expelled at up to 20 m/s, which requires significantly more energy for fan operation.

Thanks to these properties, FILTRONtec filter systems are not only effective, but also particularly resource-saving and cost-efficient.
