FILTRONtec GmbH, headquartered in Starnberg (Germany), was founded in 2000 by two shareholders and has developed into a market leader in its niche market segment through a process of continuous innovation and growth. From pre-planning to commissioning, FILTRONtec is a reliable partner when it comes to ultra-modern and efficient air filter systems for road tunnels and other structures. We support your planning work, supply and install tailor-made filter technology and, if required, can also take over systems operation and maintenance.

Our company's head office is located in Starnberg near Munich and the engineering branch office is at Wolfen in Saxony-Anhalt. Overseas subsidiary companies are located in Australia, Hong Kong and Spain.

Our team of qualified and experienced employees at home and abroad and an international network of suppliers guarantee the high quality of our filter systems.

FILTRONtec has been certified by TÜV since 2008 according to DIN ISO 9001.

FILTRONtec is a member of STUVA since April 2012.

Our products are used world-wide

Increased traffic, increasing environmental awareness and responsible health protection conscience are some of the reasons for the growing interest in our air filter systems for road tunnels and underground garages.

In 2004, FILTRONtec was chosen as one of only three companies in a world-wide technical qualification contest run by the Road and Traffic Authority (RTA) in Australia from among 13 applicants bidding for the planning and construction of a pilot filter system in a tunnel in Sydney. In 2009, the contract was awarded to FILTRONtec, and in 2010 the filter plant went into operation.

From 2007 to 2008, FILTRONtec installed various air filter systems in the M30 tunnel in Madrid.

From 2015 to 2019, FILTRONtec installed eight air purification systems in the Central Wan Chai Bypass tunnel in Hong Kong.

Since beginning of 2022 we were planning and installing a filter system for Calle M30 tunnel in Madrid, Spain (location of the former Vicente Calderón stadium). The commissioning works are still on-going.
